
Cegelec has been awarded a contract covering the whole electromechanical process of third tramway line Lea (traction energy in association with Ineo and overhead contact line with TSO). One specificity of this new line is its speed profile with large variations depending on its environment, urban or suburban. Therefore, for the first time in France, traditional road signalling has been replaced by level crossings protected by barriers which are more commonly used in rail signalling. 26 such level crossings have been installed over 14.7 km.
