Cegelec Transport: Cegelec Transport provides specialised solutions to railway and urban transport authorities in the areas of electrification (catenaries and sub-stations), tramcar and trolley traction systems, signalling, wheelset axle inspection system and peripheral equipment particularly for metro tunnels and stations.

Electrification of an additional 350 km in Morocco

Cegelec will be responsible for the electrification, by the end of 2008, of an additional 350 km of railway networks in the north of Morocco. The contracts include the design studies, procurement, installation and commissioning of five substations as well as the installation of the catenaries. Some 1,000 km of catenaries have been deployed by Cegelec in Morocco over the years.
