Cegelec Transport has been entrusted with the electrification of the first tramway network in Rabat (Morocco) to be delivered by the end of 2010. Cegelec will be responsible for the engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of 17 sub-stations and the overhead lines for this new line. The 18 km long line, with 32 stations, will link the two cities of Rabat and Sale, their business and administration centres and all the major public infrastructures (hospital, university, railway station…).
