Cegelec Transport: Cegelec Transport provides specialised solutions to railway and urban transport authorities in the areas of electrification (catenaries and sub-stations), tramcar and trolley traction systems, signalling, wheelset axle inspection system and peripheral equipment particularly for metro tunnels and stations.

Communication, SCADA and exhaust system for the Lausanne M2 metro line

For the new Lausanne M2 metro line, inaugurated in September 2008, Cegelec and its Swiss subsidiary TSA have been in charge of the wire- and wireless communication networks (radio communication and telephony). They also provided the SCADA system and installed the smoke exhaust system. This fully-automated line, partly replacing the old cable line, "La Ficelle", is 6 km long with 14 stations.
