Cegelec is to provide the wireless telecom infrastructure for the future Rhin-Rhône high-speed line linking Dijon to Belfort in France by 2012. France's first inter-regional TGV line spanning over 140 km will be fitted with 28 telecom base stations which will be used by the local mobile networks operators and will also support the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) standard, the future unique signalling standard for the rail industry.
