Electrification

Some 2,500 km of catenaries have been installed by Cegelec Transport in the past ten years. The Group's experience spans conventional and high-speed lines, notably several LGV railway sections in France and the KTX network in South Korea. It also covers overhead contact lines for urban transport authorities and has provided with them 28 cities among the most innovative in transport.

Cegelec Transport is also an integrator of power and traction sub-stations (1*25 kVet 2*25kV AC, 750 to 3000 V DC) and develops customised, flexible solutions, including the use of transportable shelters, for its customers. Cegelec Transport has also delivered its substation systems to numerous urban and rail networks in Europe.

Section division and protection, low-voltage distribution solutions and SCADA supervisory control and data acquisition systems are also being provided by Cegelec Transport.

Acting independently from any particular equipment supplier, Cegelec Transport offers a wide range of electrification solutions that best suit the needs of its customers (voltages, power feeding, principles of sectioning, architecture, sub-stations in shelters, etc.)

And thanks to its experience of working on lines in operation, Cegelec is able to guarantee to its customers continuous operation during the whole construction process.
